Hotel Management Solutions was founded in 2005 by Avtar and Aman Dhillon. The Dhillons entered the hotel industry in 1997 with their purchase of a Best Western in Central California. By 2000, they had added two more hotels.

Today the HMS team oversees several hotels across 8 states. Their principles have helped investors succeed through a recession, a pandemic, and overdeveloped markets. The demand for their expertise led to the creation of HMS.
